Job Title: Solar Foreman The Solar Foreman oversees day-to-day field operations for commercial rooftop solar installations across multiple projects in the valley. This role leads a crew of 3–4 installers, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with design specifications, project timelines, and quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise and lead a crew of 3–4 solar installers on commercial rooftop projects, providing clear direction and support throughout each workday. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and site plans to guide installation activities and ensure accurate execution of project designs. Coordinate daily tasks, materials, tools, and manpower to keep projects on schedule and within scope. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, company policies, and OSHA regulations, promoting a strong safety culture on site. Perform hands‑on installation work as needed, including assembling and installing racking systems, mounting solar modules, and installing basic electrical components. Conduct regular quality checks to confirm that installations meet project specifications, industry standards, and performance expectations. Communicate project progress, challenges, and updates to project managers or supervisors in a timely and professional manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, ensuring equipment and materials are stored properly and work areas remain orderly. Adapt to different project locations as needed, supporting various commercial rooftop installations throughout the valley. Essential Skills Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial solar construction. Prior experience leading or supervising crews in a field environment. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on installation experience in solar or construction environments. Knowledge of rooftop solar installation processes, methods, and best practices. Ability to work safely at heights and in varying weather conditions. Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and support a small field crew. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and project leadership. Solid problem‑solving skills to address on‑site challenges and maintain project momentum. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in solar, construction, or mechanical trades. Experience working on commercial rooftop construction sites. Comfort with physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe work practices in construction environments. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00–$35.00/hr.
