Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity calls for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to serve as an Interim PIC at a health center pharmacy. The role will be based in Redding, CA, and requires immediate availability for a contract period of 4 to 6 weeks, or until a permanent placement is secured.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the community center pharmacy, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with healthcare providers within the center. The PIC will ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and support a high standard of patient care.
Key Qualifications:
- Recent retail pharmacy experience is essential.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise pharmacy technicians effectively.
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations in a community or health center setting.
- Willingness to work with New Leaf system; training will be provided if needed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
