Position Summary

Hope Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling is seeking a Drains Field Manager to lead and support our drain technicians. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for daily dispatching, technician coaching, equipment oversight, team meetings, and helping the department meet its performance and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold drain technicians accountable.
• Dispatch technicians and manage daily schedules.
• Ride along with technicians to provide hands-on coaching and support.
• Assist with onboarding and training new technicians.
• Monitor and maintain department equipment, tools, vehicles, and inventory.
• Lead regular department meetings and communicate company goals and expectations.
• Monitor technician productivity, customer satisfaction, quality, and department performance.
• Support technicians with difficult jobs or customer concerns.
• Reinforce safety policies and company procedures.
• Work closely with dispatch, office staff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or a related service industry preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of drain service and equipment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
