About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: Current nursing license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: Telemetry interpretation skills and knowledge of cardiovascular procedures Description: The Telemetry unit specializes in providing care to patients experiencing alterations in cardiac and vascular functioning. Patient diagnoses include heart failure, arrhythmias, and postoperative care following cardiovascular interventions. Experience with telemetry interpretation is required. Knowledge of cardiovascular procedures such as stents and TAVRs is preferred. Staffing ratios during the night shift are 1 nurse to 4-6 patients. May require floating to meet facility needs. Weekend shifts are mandatory every third weekend. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. This position involves managing cardiac drips and the interpretation of dysrhythmias. Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in telemetry and related cardiovascular care.
