This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Engagement Manager based in India.

This is a senior client-facing leadership role focused on delivering successful technology engagements while building long-term strategic partnerships. You will combine project delivery oversight, account management, commercial ownership, and executive stakeholder engagement. The role requires a strong understanding of how to balance client outcomes, delivery quality, account growth, and profitability. You will work closely with senior client leaders, project managers, technical leads, and internal business teams to ensure strategic engagements remain healthy and successful. A major focus will be identifying expansion opportunities, developing SOWs, supporting renewals, and turning evolving client needs into sustainable business opportunities. You will also act as a trusted advisor, translating complex technology topics into clear business outcomes and recommendations. Accountabilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including Directors, VPs, and C-suite executives, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
• Develop a deep understanding of client objectives, business challenges, technology environments, organizational priorities, and future requirements.
• Own the overall health of strategic engagements, proactively identifying risks and developing plans to strengthen retention, satisfaction, and long-term account value.
• Identify and pursue account-growth opportunities, including team extensions, new services, scope expansions, technology solutions, and renewals.
• Translate client needs into actionable opportunities, Statements of Work (SOWs), commercial proposals, and scope discussions.
• Maintain visibility into project milestones, SLAs, budgets, quality, risks, resource allocation, and overall delivery performance.
• Partner with Project Managers and Technical Leads to resolve delivery challenges proactively and ensure commitments are met.
• Review project and account health regularly, distinguishing genuine progress from emerging risks that require leadership intervention.
• Monitor account-level financial performance, including margin, utilization, revenue, resource allocation, and budget health.
• Support pricing discussions, contract renewals, scope negotiations, commercial adjustments, and the development of commercially viable and sustainable SOWs.
• Balance client expectations and business objectives while protecting account profitability and long-term relationship value.
• Lead QBRs, MBRs, governance meetings, executive reviews, and escalation discussions, communicating performance, outcomes, risks, and opportunities clearly.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts across Cloud, DevOps, AI, and custom software into measurable business outcomes.
• Build relationships beyond individual project teams to increase account penetration and identify opportunities across business units and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall professional experience, with demonstrated progression through project delivery and leadership roles such as Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Delivery Lead, Engagement Manager, or equivalent.
• Proven ownership of technology project delivery, including milestones, budgets, quality, risks, SLAs, resources, and client outcomes.
• Demonstrated success developing client relationships from transactional delivery partnerships into trusted-advisor relationships.
• Strong experience identifying and supporting expansion opportunities, scope extensions, SOWs, new services, and contract renewals.
• Experience managing relationships with senior client stakeholders at Director, VP, and C-suite levels.
• Strong understanding of account financials, including margins, utilization, revenue, resource planning, and budget management.
• Strong commercial mindset combined with a solid delivery-oriented background.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to identify emerging client needs and translate them into actionable opportunities.
• Experience delivering Cloud, DevOps, AI, custom software, or other enterprise technology projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar SaaS/professional-services environments is advantageous.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, supporting contract renewals, and managing commercial discussions is a plus.
• Experience establishing and leading QBR/MBR governance frameworks is beneficial.
• Exposure to enterprise technology consulting and managed services engagements is preferred.
