- # Project CoordinatorApplylocations: Mira Loma, CAtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-101141**THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL**Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a Project Coordinator responsible for supporting our fire and security project businesses. Working with project managers, field technicians, and other team members, this role will help ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget. The Project Coordinator will track and document various elements of our projects while focusing on achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)*** Preparation of registration and pre-qualification, bid documents, bond orders, project documents, and project closeouts.* Creation and tracking of project submittal packages.* Provide support to both sales and operations teams.* Coordinate daily schedule changes to address customer and company needs.* Track and report on change orders and project closeouts.* Assist with project billing and status reviews.* Assist project manager with material requisition, tracking, and delivery.* Coordinate and maintain project material delivery schedule.* Maintain a log of back ordered material with expected deliver dates.* Coordinate between solutions and service departments to ensure a smooth handover of projects.* Maintain a master list of company-supplied tools for each solutions technician.* Coordinate with purchasing for any replacement or additional tools required.* Assist operations manager with accounts receivable issues.* Track and submit for Project Permits.* Participate in monthly WIP meetings and take notes and distribute action items.* Assist with manpower planning updates and preparation.* CMAS/GSA government contract vehicles.* Assist Project Management team with updating and maintaining Project Logs in SmartSheet.* Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.**WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU*** High school diploma or equivalent.* 1-2 years of construction administrative assistant experience preferred.* Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, required.* Excellent customer service and follow up skills.* Strong organizational skills.* Possess sound decision-making skills.* Ability to encourage and motivate people with a positive attitude.* Ability to escalate difficult inquiries or problems to managers.* Strong communication and reading skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.* Ability to complete projects independently.* Reliable transportation, driver’s license, insurance.**WHAT WE'RE BRINGING TO THE TABLE*** Competitive salary based on qualifications.* Paid time off plan and holidays.* 401(k) matching.* Short term and long-term disability.* Medical, dental, and vision plans with options.* Life insurance.* Professional career development opportunities.* Tuition reimbursement.**COMPENSATION**$30 - 35.00 per hour, depending on experience
