About The Role FTI Consulting is seeking a Corporate Communications Associate to support the development and execution of high-impact internal and external communications across the firm. This role will help advance FTI Consulting’s corporate narrative, strengthen connectivity with employees and key stakeholders, and support integrated communications programs that reinforce the firm’s brand, culture and business priorities.The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and strategic thinker who can translate complex information into clear, engaging content for a range of audiences. This person will work closely with colleagues across Corporate Communications, Marketing, business segments and corporate functions to support storytelling, executive communications, employee engagement and media relations initiatives.This position reports to the Manager, Public Relations and partners closely with colleagues across Corporate Communications.What You’ll Do Support the planning and execution of integrated internal and external communications programs that align with firmwide priorities and key business objectives.Draft, edit and refine communications for a range of audiences, including employees, leaders, clients, recruits, media and other external stakeholders.Help develop messaging, talking points, announcements, executive communications, media materials, intranet content, newsletters and other communications deliverables.Partner with teams across Corporate Communications, Marketing, business segments and corporate functions to identify storytelling opportunities and communicate firmwide initiatives in a clear, consistent and compelling way.Support internal communications efforts that inform, engage and connect employees across regions, segments and corporate functions.Contribute to external communications activities, including media relations support, thought leadership promotion, awards and rankings, reputational storytelling and corporate announcements.Maintain awareness of business, industry and news trends to help inform proactive communications opportunities.Coordinate timelines, inputs and approvals for communications projects, helping ensure work is delivered accurately and on schedule.Track communications activity, gather performance insights and help identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and impact.Serve as a collaborative partner to stakeholders across the firm, helping connect communications work to broader business and cultural priorities.Additional responsibilities and projects as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.1-2 years of relevant experience, including internships, in communications, marketing or a related field preferred.Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to turn raw information into clear, compelling content.Experience with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with content management systems or newsletter tools.Interest in internal communications, public relations and corporate storytelling.Strong verbal communication skills and comfort working with colleagues across functions and levels.Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Comfort learning new systems and processes quickly and applying them consistently.A proactive, collaborative approach and a strong sense of ownership over day-to-day execution.FTI Consulting is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, protected veteran status, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or any other basis protected by law, ordinance, or regulation.$80,000SummaryLocation: Boston, MAType: Full time
