Receptionist

Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. 30 hours per week. Rate of pay is $12.93 per hour. This is a temporary position.This position is responsible for:Answers the phone in a courteous manner and directs calls to appropriate destination; records accurate and complete messages when necessary; receives and receipts deliveries and donations; greets and announces visitors and clients; provides general information about The Salvation Army's operations and services; performs routines clerical work such as typing and filing; assists the caseworker; schedules truck donation pickupsKey Responsibilities:Answers the phone and transfers calls to appropriate destinationsRecords accurate and complete messagesReceives, responds to, and assists people requesting social service assistanceScheudules truck donation pickupsPerforms routine clerical workPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language. Ability to operate a telephone. Ability to sort documents alphabetically and numerically. Ability to perform routine mathematical computations.
