Emergency Department RN

Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Company: Hospital Location: Hillcrest, TX, USA Shift: Evening/Nights 3x12hrs/week Work Wise Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Department RN for a full-time position in Hillcrest, TX. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced RN to provide quality care to patients in the fast-paced environment of the emergency department. As an Emergency Department RN, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. You will be expected to provide compassionate and competent care to patients of all ages who present with a wide range of medical emergencies. Your role will also involve providing education to patients and their families, as well as documenting patient care and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: Assess and triage patients in the emergency department Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans Document patient care accurately and thoroughly Maintain a safe and clean working environment Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members Requirements: Active RN license in the state of Texas Minimum of 1 year of experience in the emergency department setting BLS and ACLS certifications Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays At WorkWise Healthcare Staffing, we value our employees and strive to create a positive and supportive work environment.
