Health Plan Partnership Specialist

Full-Time Health Plan Partnership Specialist Reports To: Director of Marketing and Community Relations 131-72 40th Road, Queens, New York, 11354, United States The Health Plan Partnership Specialist serves as the primary liaison between the Health Center (CBWCHC) and managed care health plans, including provider relations, sales, and marketing teams. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with health plan partners through orientations on CBWCHC’s health services, regular meetings, membership reviews, patient growth monitoring, and marketing initiatives. The specialist will lead efforts to enhance CBWCHC’s visibility within health plans and implement data-driven strategies to maximize patient acquisition and retention. Responsibilities Lead relationship management with managed care health plans, focusing on membership growth, strategic marketing, and joint co-marketing initiatives Provide orientation and guidance on CBWCHC health services to health plan representatives Plan and execute collaborative marketing campaigns with health plan partners to increase awareness, engagement, and patient volume Conduct high-level meetings with health plan partners to review membership performance, trends, patient growth opportunities, and quality incentive programs Analyze patient, membership, and utilization data to inform strategic initiatives and optimize network engagement Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient acquisition, retention, and overall access to care Serve as a trusted advisor to internal leadership and cross-functional teams regarding health plan collaborations, co-marketing efforts, and quality improvement programs Track, evaluate, and report key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making Strong skills in community building, communication, and stakeholder management skills Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for some evenings and weekends Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing or a related field 3‑5 years experience in healthcare partnerships, managed care collaboration, marketing or/and community relations Strong understanding of healthcare systems, NYS of Health Marketplace products, payer structures, and patient access optimization Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to translate data and market insights into actionable growth strategies Proficiency in data analysis and healthcare management tools Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications Bilingual skills, with a preference for Chinese-speaking Capable of working a flexible schedule, including availability for some evenings and weekends Compensation and Benefits Salary: $50,000.00 - 60,000.00 per year Medical insurance Employer-paid dental, vision, disability and life insurance 403(b) retirement savings plan Flexible spending accounts for transit, parking, health and dependent care Paid time off (28 days for the first year of employment) Employee Assistance Program Employee Discount Programs Tuition reimbursement for eligible employees The Health Center is qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program #J-18808-Ljbffr Charles B.
