Business Development ManagerKinetics Noise Control is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to support sales efforts of wholesale distributors selling product solutions for Kinetics Noise Control. This role focuses on expanding wholesale distribution channels, strengthening customer relationships, and driving revenue through strategic market engagement.The position partners closely with sales leadership, rep firms, and marketing to support product adoption, training, and market expansion efforts.Location Requirement: Candidates should reside in Central Ohio or have convenient access to a major airport due to travel expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Growth & Sales ExecutionSupport the development and execution of short- and long-term market growth strategiesPartner with Market Group Sales Directors to drive channel expansion and performanceManage and maintain sales pipeline data and forecasting modelsOwn sales growth objectives for assigned territory and customer baseChannel & Customer SupportServe as a key resource for wholesale distributors and their customersProvide product, application, and technical support for wholesale distribution partners and their customersAct as a customer advocate to strengthen relationships and enable partner successConduct Voice of the Customer (VOC) outreach, including site visits and virtual engagementTraining & Market EngagementLead product training for distributors, reps, and customersParticipate in trade shows, seminars, and industry eventsTrain sales representatives on application of Kinetics solutions (ceilings, floors, walls)Marketing & Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with Marketing on campaigns, promotions, and content developmentContribute to product development, sales tools, and website updatesCoordinate webinar content and support broader market communication effortsMonitor construction activity and share relevant project insights with sales teamsAdditional ResponsibilitiesReview and recommend updates to technical documents (web content, drawings, installation guides)Coordinate responses to RFIs, installation issues, and customer inquiriesPartner with internal teams (Customer Service, Purchasing, Scheduling) to support order prioritization and communicationPerform other duties as assignedTravel RequirementsUp to 60% travel, domesticOvernight travel as neededQualificationsRequired:3–5 years of field sales experience with demonstrated success in wholesale/distribution channelsProven ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targetsStrong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skillsValid driver's license with a good driving recordWillingness to travel regularlyPreferred:Bachelor's degree in Business or related fieldExperience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and trendsLeadership and team collaboration skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary plus performance-based bonusComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coveragePaid time off and company holidaysCareer development and advancement opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environmentEqual Employment OpportunityKinetics Noise Control is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
