Job Details Job Location: BHI Bristol Hospital Main Campus - Bristol, CT 06010 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Job Shift: 1st Shift (Days) Schedule: 36 Hrs /Days/7a-7:30p/Every Other Weekend Responsibilities Assist in patient-centered care, performing various tasks under a Patient Focused Care model. Follow standardized procedures in clinical pathways, including direct care, diagnostic testing, patient transport, documentation, and other duties as directed by RN. Orient and mentor new team members, ensuring compliance with universal precautions and PPE use. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and carry out patient-centered care plans. Qualifications Basic Life Support (BLS) – active CPR certificate required. High School Diploma or equivalent. Active CNA certificate or at least one year experience as PCA, Ed Tech, or CNA in acute or long-term care. Good communication skills. Alternatively, 3rd year BSN student with two completed clinical rotations. Alternatively, Medical Assistant or EMT. Must be willing to be floated or reassigned to another department, unit, office, or location as needed.
