Job Details:


• Minimum 18 months of experience required
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Care for a variety of patient types including post-surgical, CVA, sepsis, pneumonia, trauma, MI, pediatrics, and obstetric emergencies
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
• Required skills include airway management and RSI knowledge, cardiac drips, codes, CVA and STEMI management
• Charting system: Epic EMR
• IV Pumps: Alaris
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis
• Weekend rotation every other weekend
• Holiday expectations: every other holiday
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Free parking available


Facility:


This is a 60-bed facility operating as a Level 4 Trauma and stroke-ready center with 17 exam rooms and a 4-bed observation unit. The facility provides comprehensive support including ED technicians, an LPN, charge nurses, phlebotomy services, a VAT team, respiratory therapy, hospitalist coverage 24/7, and OT, PT, and ST services to ensure high-quality patient care.
