Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and configure mechanical components for mail processing and material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Use hand and power tools to perform assembly and repair tasks.
• Install and work with bearings, pulleys, gears, springs, bolts, nuts, washers, and other mechanical components.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work independently at a workstation while supporting team production goals.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to identify and work with common mechanical parts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Auto mechanic, field technician, printer technician, or maintenance
• Trade school training in automotive, electrical, or mechanical fields.
• Experience with installation, repair, or troubleshooting work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorestown, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
