Microsoft Optimized Deployment Consultant

Positions General Duties and Tasks (Day to Day)Provide installation, configuration and troubleshooting assistance for core desktop operating systems including Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 10, Macintosh OS X a plus.Build PCs with base image and layer additional applications as requested.Deploy PCs for end users.Deploy PC peripheral hardware to end users.Backup end user’s data as needed.Support clients who are remote.Work with other teams to ship and receive hardware equipment as needed.Comply with appropriate privacy, legal and ethical standards.Basic QualificationsTECHNICAL SKILLSStrong Hands on experience in deployment and management of desktops and laptops using Microsoft Windows Operating Systems in a Corporate Environment (2+ years)Demonstrated proficiency with computer software including current Windows Operating System. (2+ years)Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project, and Internet Explorer. (2+ years)Intermediate to advanced level knowledge and understanding of hardware products, commercial off the shelf application and diagnostic and troubleshooting utilities. (3+ years)Requires basic to intermediate understanding of networking and security practices. (2+ years)CONSULTING SKILLSAssist with process development and user and technical documentation with adherence to change management processes. (2+ years)Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and update tracking systems as directed. (2+ years)Good Analytical and communication skills.
