Associate Trial Attorney

Job Summary: Associate Trial Attorney Chicago, IL
- Manage personal injury and wrongful death cases from intake through resolution.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, demands, and memoranda.
- Conduct written discovery, document and medical record review, and case investigation.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, experts, and medical providers.
- Represent clients in court for hearings, motions, and status conferences.
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
- Prepare cases for trial, including witness prep, exhibit organization, and trial strategy.
- Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them updated throughout the case.
- Evaluate liability, damages, medical treatment, insurance coverage, liens, and settlement value.
- Collaborate with partners, paralegals, and legal assistants to advance cases efficiently.
- Maintain strong organizational skills, meet deadlines, and ensure thorough case documentation.
- Uphold the firm's values of trust, responsibility, teamwork, and client commitment.
