LAB Technician II

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and process development, is seeking a LAB Technician II to join their team. As a LAB Technician II, you will be part of the Process Development Department supporting the Nonwovens and Fiber Processing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LAB Technician II

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Range: $21

What's the Job?

• Configure, operate, and maintain pilot-scale process equipment focused on nonwovens
• Measure and characterize properties of nonwoven materials off the production line
• Maintain detailed records and communicate technical work and results effectively
• Follow and develop standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, including material handling tasks such as lifting pails and moving pallets

What's Needed?

• At least one (1) year of technician experience in a manufacturing, military, public, or private environment
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment or in a trades role
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an environment requiring steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, and respiratory protection if necessary
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective written and verbal communication skills
