Operations Coordinator

Job Overview This entry‑level position provides overall coordination to ensure all company goals are met for a particular operation(s) and client(s). The role involves partnering with Independent Contractors (IC’s) to deliver products from clients’ locations to designated destinations. Responsibilities Monitor that all routes are covered, IC check‑in is complete, and routes run on time. Create routes according to customer requirements and ensure IC’s accept dispatch for delivery services. Monitor the dispatch board to ensure customer requested delivery times are met. Communicate any delays or problems to the customer and dispatch department. Ensure IC’s provide services in the vehicle type requested by the customer. Ensure compliance with IC login process and EC‑mobile. Work directly with IC’s to assist with issues encountered while under dispatch. Assist in arranging for STAT coverage for customers as needed. Restructure routes as requested by the customer to ensure on‑time execution. Ensure IC’s provide contracted delivery services in compliance with customer regulations. Assist with contracting of IC’s as needed. Complete daily service reports as required by the customer. Create and process administrative reports and paperwork as directed. Follow up with IC’s to ensure their paperwork is up to date. Ensure IC’s wear a uniform shirt with a visible ID badge as required by customers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) experience. Proactive and resourceful with ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Independent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks or demands that may be deadline driven. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean, functional vehicle. Ability to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Ability to work overtime as necessary. College degree or a high school diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience. Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
