Registered Nurse - Surgery

Role Overview: Provides professional nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Responsibilities: Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams. Develop and adjust individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team. Perform interventions to achieve desired outcomes, documenting progress regularly. Ensure patient safety, troubleshoot equipment, and obtain lab specimens per protocols. Contribute to clinical excellence by sharing knowledge, promoting best practices, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Coordinate interdisciplinary care, prioritize tasks, and delegate appropriately. Educate patients and families with tailored teaching strategies, considering cultural and developmental factors. Participate in performance improvement activities, data collection, and patient satisfaction efforts. Qualifications & Skills: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in the state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Strong clinical knowledge, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
