The credit union has recently opened a new office in Fort Wayne in the Harrison with a patio that is adjacent to the outfield of the Tin Caps Stadium! An Amazing Location! As Commercial Loan Officer, reporting to the Fort Wayne President, you will be responsible for originating, underwriting, documenting, and monitoring loans in the commercial loan portfolio.You will:Understand and effectively apply commercial loan policies as well as evaluate and proactively respond to changes in regulatory, market, and competitive conditions with the ability to communicate changes, policies, etc. to staff.Maintain a strong working knowledge of commercial lending field including structuring, underwriting, and documenting commercial loan transactions.Maintain awareness of commercial lending field, including government regulation, commercial needs and preferences, and relationship-enhancements.Participate in community affairs to increase Credit Union's visibility and to enhance new business opportunities.To be a standout candidate for this opportunity, your background will include:A Bachelor's degreeA minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial/Relationship Lending with a sales focus on companies whose revenue in the $1-10M rangeStrong sales acumen and track record of building relationshipsStrong analytical skillsSolid problem solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills including outstanding presentation skillsWhy this role?Excellent benefits which include medical, dental, and vision insurance; STD and LTD; 401(k) with match; PTO; EAP program.
