Emergency Veterinary Services is a well-equipped small animal emergency hospital located in Lisle, IL. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality emergency care to pets when they need it most.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys teamwork, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. Both credentialed and non-credentialed technicians are encouraged to apply. Emergency experience is not required, but candidates should feel confident in their technical abilities and eager to continue learning.

What you'll do

Monitor and provide treatments for hospitalized patients Perform in-house laboratory testing Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures Monitor anesthesia during procedures Place IV catheters and perform blood draws Take and position radiographs Safely restrain patients for procedures and exams Provide client communication and education Communicate with referring veterinarians as needed Assist with occasional reception duties Maintain hospital cleanliness and organization Support the team with additional duties as assigned

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience required CVT or credentialed technician preferred but not required Strong technical and communication skills Compassion for both patients and clients Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency setting Dependable with strong teamwork skills Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays
