As a Sr. SEO Strategist, you'll be a part of the Professional Services organization within Conductor, working with incredible customers in a variety of industries to help them improve their organic strategy and visibility. Specifically, you'll be leveraging our technology to provide best-in-class SEO services to our customers.

This is a unique, hybrid role structured in two phases:

Phase 1 – In-House Embedded (First 6 Months): You will be embedded directly within the offices of one of the largest financial institutions in the world – a marquee Conductor enterprise customer. Working on-site, you'll serve as a dedicated SEO partner within their team, driving organic strategy and platform adoption from within their organization.

Phase 2 – Conductor Office (Month 7 Onward): Following the initial placement, you will transition to working from Conductor's New York office, expanding your scope to support a broader portfolio of Conductor's enterprise customers across a variety of industries.

A Day in the life of a Senior SEO Strategist:

• Use the Conductor platform to execute on responsibilities as a Professional Services SEO Strategist
• Drive value of SEO and platform through project-based engagements with each customer
• Take on exciting technical and content SEO projects that our most valued customers would benefit from
• Work closely and partner with a variety of internal and external teams, including digital product, marketing, project management, UX/UI designers, and content groups
• Build a strong relationship with and educate customers by being a partner and SEO leader within their organization
• Work on a team of talented organic marketers that have a passion for data, technology, and client services
• Maintain strong documentation related to customer issues, proactive tasks and general account information
• Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with Conductor policies, procedures, and core competencies

We're excited about you if you have:

• Minimum of 5 years of SEO experience at either an agency or in house
• Ability to effectively overcome customer concerns and create a win-win outcome
• Experience speaking with executive to discover SEO needs and solutions
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills - both with colleagues and customers
• Complete confidence in creating, managing, and presenting SEO deliverables with minimal direction - deliverables including but not limited to:
• SEO strategies
• Technical audits with recommendations
• Content audits with recommendations
• Competitive analyses
• Page-level optimization recommendations
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Working knowledge of organic search and search engine ranking algorithms with a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest in the SEO industry
• Passion about problem solving, relationship building and creating customer loyalty
• Strong results orientation with a proven track record of flawless execution and strong attention to detail
• Strong project management skills and the ability to assess urgency and set priorities is essential
• Demonstrated ability to gather information, prioritize initiatives, and achieve results on time
• Experience with Conductor, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, and other technologies that inform organic search strategies
• Prior experience training customers on how to use technology/software
• BA/BS is preferred or equivalent experience in related field

Compensation: Conductor maintains competitive, performance-based compensation programs.

The NYC base salary range for this role is currently $130,000 - 145,000 per year. Placement within that range will be dependent on experience.
