Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Pharmacy Supervisor position is available onsite in Bakersfield, CA, within an animal health compounding pharmacy. This role focuses on leading a skilled team of pharmacists to produce top-quality compounded preparations while managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with key regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include coaching and developing pharmacists, setting productivity and quality goals, supporting compounding workflows, and maintaining adherence to USP <795> , <797> , and <800> guidelines. The supervisor will keep accurate training records, assist with drug selection, recommend process enhancements, collaborate with leadership, and uphold confidentiality and regulatory policies.

Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacist license in good standing
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a pharmacy lab team
• 2 to 5 years of compounding pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of USP <795> , <797> , <800> , State Board regulations, and 503A requirements
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and mentoring capabilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM

This full-time, on-site professional role offers eligibility for benefits and a competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $185,000 plus bonus, commensurate with experience.
