Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Every other weekend required.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a healthcare team to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive patient assessments and care plans.
Monitor and interpret EKG readings.
Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
Perform wound care and support patient education.
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of progressive care or intensive care experience preferred.
Current RN license required.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience with adult patient populations, including those with chronic conditions such as CHF, Stroke, and COPD.
