Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary: The ICU Travel RN will provide specialized patient care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit, supporting critically ill patients with complex medical needs. The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Manage and monitor critically ill patients using cardiac monitoring, ventilators, and IV pumps. Perform advanced procedures such as intubations and central line placements. Administer medications and treatments adhering to hospital protocols and standards. Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans. Respond promptly to patient emergencies and adjust care plans as needed. Qualifications: Must have at least 1 year of current ICU hospital experience. Hold active ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications. Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record system. Possess strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Prior experience with neuro and medical ICU populations preferred.
