School-Based SLP | Olympia, Washington

An exciting opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support school students in Olympia, WA. These contract positions focus on providing specialized speech and language services within an educational setting, playing a critical role in enhancing student communication skills and academic success.


Two maternity leave contracts need to be filled:

• Full-time assignment from September 4th through January 31st, offering a comprehensive opportunity to engage with students and collaborate with educational teams.
• Part-time assignment from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), requiring availability two days per week, ideal for candidates seeking flexibility while making a meaningful impact.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) as an SLP.
• Experience working in school-based environments is highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively with students, families, and educators.
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and implement individualized interventions aligned with student needs.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and delivering speech and language therapy plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to team meetings to support students' educational progress.
