Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental and emotional well-being, including identifying their needs and therapy goals.

• Evaluate client information to formulate individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions focused on a broad spectrum of mental health issues, applying tailored interventions to meet each client's unique needs.

• Lead couples therapy sessions to enhance communication skills, mediate conflict resolution, and strengthen interpersonal relationships.

• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of each client interaction, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories, ensuring accessibility for interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Regularly adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations of client progress and feedback.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support to clients presenting acute distress and assist them in times of emergency.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in marriage and family therapy, actively engaging in opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth.

• Advocate for the well-being of clients, empowering them to make informed decisions about their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Tennessee.
