Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider

Medical City Denton is seeking an experienced Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider to care for pre and post-operative cardiac surgery patients. Qualified candidates:

• Physician Associate or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Texas licensed or ability to obtain one
• Have experience in CVICU and knowledge of a variety of mechanical circulatory support devices (intraortic balloon pump, Impella, VV/VA ECMO)
• Can work a flexible full-time schedule
• Responsibilities include managing patients in the CVICU recovering from CABG, valve replacement including TAVRs, complex aortic reconstruction, LVAD placement and heart transplantation in addition to our mechanical circulator support patients.
• Will also cover patient consults and discharges after surgery
