Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered at the unit level
• Support competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
• Manage appropriate resources related to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Step Down setting
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage intermediate to high-acuity patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a cardiovascular, surgical, or medical ICU environment
• Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
