Job Title: Carrier Driver & Warehouse Worker - $20-$22/HR

Job Description

Join our team as a Carrier Driver & Warehouse Worker, where you will be responsible for transporting portable air conditioning units, heaters, and dehumidifiers to customer sites using a 16-foot box truck. Additionally, you may assist with the installation process at customer locations and perform various warehouse duties, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Load portable air conditioning units, heaters, and dehumidifiers onto a box truck.
• Drive to customer sites and drop off units.
• Assist with installation of units at customer sites.
• Perform warehouse duties such as inventory management, shipping and receiving, and cleaning equipment.
• Report to the Detroit Branch Manager.
• Be prepared to work extended hours, including weekends, with potential on-call duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience driving a box truck (Chauffeur's or CDL B).
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs repetitively.
• Customer service experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of hand tools.
• CDL license.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with pallet jack operations.

Work Environment

Work in a small warehouse alongside a team of three. The role involves traveling to various customer sites, driving a box truck, and interacting with customers. Expect a dynamic environment with opportunities to be on the road frequently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, MI.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
