Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiology Nurse for a 13-week assignment in a busy cardiovascular unit. The role involves performing specialized procedures, managing patient care, and adhering to strict scheduling and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor patient care during complex procedures such as Impella, IABP insertion, TAVR, and Mitral Clips.
• Support and assist with neuro procedures including cerebral and carotid angio, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, and thrombectomy.
• Document all clinical activities in Epic accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Comply with travel, scheduling, and certification requirements as outlined by the facility.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications valid at start date.
• Have at least 1 year of clinical experience, with 2 years preferred, specifically in cath lab or electrophysiology settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing and supporting complex cardiovascular and neuro-interventional procedures.
• Be able to float within skillset and adhere to patient ratios based on acuity.
