About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Software Engineering to take on a pivotal role in the organization's transition to a software and data-centric business. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the multi-year technology roadmap, leading the migration of a legacy on-prem environment to the cloud, and overseeing the development of new self-serve, BI-driven product tools. This leadership position involves managing a team of 15 to 25 engineers, establishing a culture of accountability and speed, and working closely with the product team to align technical and product roadmaps. The VP will also be tasked with addressing data quality and integration issues, championing the adoption of modern AI-assisted development tools, and ensuring the company's technology investments support its growth objectives. Applicants for the VP of Software Engineering role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and significant experience in software engineering leadership, including direct management of engineering teams. The role requires a hands-on approach to AI-assisted development tools, a strong background in building and scaling modern, cloud-based software products, and a proven track record in vendor evaluation and technology partnerships.
