HiPo Talent Partners is conducting a search on behalf of a global diversified industrial manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to support one of its longstanding U.S. manufacturing operations.

You'll serve as the primary onsite HR resource, partnering with leaders and employees to foster a positive workplace culture and support ongoing business growth.

What You'll DoHR Business Partnership

• Serve as the primary HR partner for plant leadership and employees across all areas of Human Resources.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and workplace issues.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders, supervisors, and employees throughout the facility.

Employee Relations & Compliance

• Support employee relations matters, investigations, and performance management activities.
• Assist with labor relations within a union manufacturing environment, including grievance documentation and contract interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and collective bargaining agreements.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Lead recruiting efforts for the facility, including candidate screening, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to deliver a positive candidate experience and support workforce planning initiatives.

Payroll, Leave & HR Operations

• Process weekly payroll while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Administer leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and applicable state leave programs.
• Support workers' compensation administration and return-to-work processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.

HR Programs & Continuous Improvement

• Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
• Coordinate employee surveys, communications, training, and special events.
• Utilize HR data and reporting to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Partner with corporate HR on company-wide initiatives and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Manufacturing, industrial, construction, or other blue-collar workforce experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting payroll, employee relations, recruiting, and leave administration.
• Knowledge of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, wage and hour regulations, and state leave programs.
• HRIS experience (Dayforce or similar platforms preferred).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working onsite and building relationships across both office and production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a unionized manufacturing environment.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
• Experience with employee engagement, HR analytics, and process improvement initiatives.
