Customer Service Account Representative

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a  Customer Service Account Representative for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for managing assigned customer and supplier accounts while coordinating the planning, execution, and tracking of shipments.

Pay Rate
$40K to $43K (depending on exceptional experience)

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 30 am to 5 00 pm

(flex time option available)

Customer Service Account Representative Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Monitor shipment activity, track load status, and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and service-related issues.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure efficient logistics and transportation operations.
• Maintain and review logistics documentation, including Bills of Lading, shipping records, and related paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer and supplier accounts, providing proactive communication and status updates.
• Resolve customer inquiries, fulfillment issues, and transportation concerns while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and account information, ensuring proper documentation, follow-up, and reporting activities.

Customer Service Account Representative Qualifications and Requirements

 

• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain coordination, or customer account management preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and departments
