The Growth org aims to help Algolia grow by working on changes in the product, introducing new features, and providing the best possible user experience. You will get to shape the user experience of our customers as they start using Algolia, help create a new Growth platform, mentor software engineers, and introduce best practices.A few projects we’ve worked on recently include:New data integrations with other developer platformsNew marketplace and billing integrationsNew internal platforms such as notifications, experimentation, feature flaggingAI based data processing platformsYour role will consist of: Coming up with innovative solutions to help users get the most out of AlgoliaExecuting experiments and A/B tests to choose the best possible solutionCollaborating with Product and Design teams to identify and ideate on opportunitiesMentoring other software engineers and helping them growDesigning & developing a scalable growth platformWorking with a wide range of teams to deliver a solid growth foundationImproving engineering quality, processes and toolingHelping define the team roadmapWe follow a bottom-up approach: the teams come up with their own initiatives targeting our metrics and execute on themYou might be a fit if you have:Passion about delivering the best UX to diverse sets of users in various industries (engineers, marketers, merchandisers, etc.)Mindset to take data driven decisions and analysing impact of the changes you introduceExperience with event driven infrastructure in GCP or AWSExperience with a server-side typed or untyped languageWe use Ruby and have plans to integrate more Golang, so willingness to learn is importantExperience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS – this role is fullstack, we expect engineers to be able to ship across the stackNice to have:Experience working in a scale-up or Growth teamExperience with analytics platforms like Amplitude, Hex#LI-hybridAlgolia does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.The annual base salary compensation range for this role reflects market pay data within this location.
