Join our Urgent Care Clinic in Coon Rapids, MN, as a Medical Assistant (CMA). This permanent, 0.9 FTE position offers $22.23–$27.37 per hour , 12-hour shifts, a varied rotating schedule, and weekend work according to departmental rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient care and treatment.
• Manage patient flow throughout the urgent care clinic.
• Room patients and complete standard intake procedures.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed by providers.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform phlebotomy when required.
• Perform clinic laboratory tests and assist with front-desk duties as needed.
• Support telephone communications, prescription refills, and prior authorizations.
• Perform X-ray duties only when qualified and after passing the required X-ray operator examination.
• Maintain supplies and communicate patient concerns to the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an appropriately accredited Medical Assistant program, or an eligible RMA training and certification pathway.
• Current BLS certification.
• Required education and certification documentation.
