Services provided include comprehensive facility operations; project management for renovations, minor construction, and major equipment repairs; engineering, construction, and operations support; custodial and grounds maintenance services; environmental, safety, and occupational health support; food services; motorpool and logistics operations; and physical and technical security services.As the Carpenter, you will perform the carpentry duties necessary to maintain in good repair building woodwork and equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions, doors. Work involves most of the following: planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments, making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work; and selecting materials necessary for the work. In general, the work of the maintenance carpenter requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.This category includes occupations concerned with maintaining and repairing buildings, grounds, and related facilities; installing, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining in efficient operating condition a wide variety of engines and mechanical equipment designed for use in domestic, commercial, industrial, and agricultural activities.Education & Experience:High School diploma or equivalent5+ years of related experience as a craft workerCertification in assigned area may be required.Consideration will be given to relevant professional experience commensurate with assignment.Knowledge & Skills:Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.Security Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI W/ CI PolyIntrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC
