General Clerk I

Koniag Advisory Business Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a General Clerk I to support KABS and our government customer at Poplar, MT. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Clerk I to provide essential administrative support for the Purchased Referred Care (PRC) program within the Billings Area Indian Health Service (BAIHS). This position plays a crucial role in supporting patient care coordination and maintaining efficient office operations.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
PRC Program Support:

• Complete and maintain applications for Purchased Referred Care (PRC) program
• Process PRC documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist patients with PRC application procedures and requirements

Communications & Customer Service:

• Answer multi-line telephone system and direct calls to appropriate PRC staff
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Obtain and provide information regarding patient billing, charges, payments, and outstanding account balances
• Respond to routine inquiries in a timely and accurate manner

Administrative Duties:

• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail to appropriate departments and personnel
• Maintain organized filing systems and documentation
• Support general office operations as needed

Patient Transportation Coordination:

• Control and assign travel arrangements for patient transport
• Maintain accurate trip logs and transportation documentation
• Coordinate with transportation providers and track patient travel requirements

Security Clearance:

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust

Required Qualifications:

• Meet minimum qualification requirements as outlined in prime contract
