Substitute School Nurse And/Or Health Aide

Reports To: Principal And Director Of Special Education

Qualifications:

• Illinois Registered Nurse License
• PEL endorsed in school nursing with training to provide services in IEP meetings requiring medical plans and goals
• An interest and/or experience in working with children in grades Pre-K through 8
• Training and experience in managing diabetes plans
• Excellent attention to details in the handling of medical records and the administration of doctor-prescribed medication to children
• A strong commitment to professional excellence
• The ability to work collaboratively with others
• A willingness to participate in staff development opportunities

Work Year: School Year (9 1/2 months)

Salary: Per WEA contract
