Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing essential support to medical staff, ensuring accurate patient documentation, assisting with examinations, and maintaining a well-stocked and organized clinical environment. The position requires a commitment to preventative healthcare programs and a team-based approach to healthcare delivery.

• Measures and records vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure, etc.)
• Ensures accurate and timely documentation into the EMR; i.e.- patient interviews and histories, vital signs, treatments, test results.
• Assists medical staff with patient examinations
• Maintains supplies, equipment, stocks, and sterilizes instruments necessary.
• Maintains confidentiality of all patient and organization information and follows federal and state regulations and organization policies regarding protection of patient information
• Participates in development activities and maintains affiliations with medical assistant associations, as applicable
• Commitment to concepts of preventative health care programs and team-based approach to health care delivery

• MA experience, family practice preferred
• Comfortable performing independent blood draws

• Proficiency in performing independent blood draws
• EPIC (preferred)

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM
• Includes a 1-hour lunch break

• 401k (Eligible on the first 401k open enrollment date following 6 consecutive months on assignment. 401k Open Enrollment dates are 1/1, 4/1, 7/1, and 10/1).
