Registered Nurse

Job Responsibilities:

• Screen patients for contraindications and health history before immunization.
• Monitor patients post-vaccination for immediate adverse reactions or anaphylaxis.
• Document administration accurately in electronic health records (HER EPIC) and registry databases.
• Maintain cold chain storage requirements for vaccine temperature stability"  

Skills:

• Administer vaccines
• Screen patients for contraindications and health history before immunization.
• Educate patients on vaccine benefits, risks, and expected side effects.
• Monitor patients post-vaccination for immediate adverse reactions or anaphylaxis.
• Document administration accurately in electronic health records (HER EPIC) and registry databases.
• Maintain cold chain storage requirements for vaccine temperature stability  

Education/Experience:

• Active RN License in the state of practice required.
• BLS/CPR Certification (Basic Life Support) required.
• Education:  Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience: 2 Year
