We are looking for an AR Specialist to support an organization in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing accounts receivable activities in a fast-paced environment. The role will focus on maintaining accurate financial information, applying incoming payments, and following up with customers to keep accounts current.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and ensure customer account activity is documented correctly.

• Apply incoming payments to the appropriate invoices and reconcile posted transactions with supporting records.

• Monitor outstanding balances and communicate with business clients regarding overdue accounts and payment status.

• Review account details regularly to identify discrepancies and help resolve billing or payment issues promptly.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth cash application and account maintenance processes.

• Prepare receivable-related reports and provide updates on collection activity and account trends.

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar accounting support role.
• Working knowledge of financial recordkeeping and payment posting procedures.
• Experience handling business-to-business collections and customer account follow-up.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate data and documentation.
• Good communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
