Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting serving all age ranges, from infant to geriatric populations
• Manage a wide variety of complex and varied patient diagnoses within a high-volume ED environment
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 across a 47-bed department with an average daily census of 130
• Float within the Emergency Room specialty as required
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend and holidays as they fall

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience (candidates with 1 year of experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Current BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• Current ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• Current PALS certification – American Heart Association only
• NIH Stroke Scale certification and CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the only accepted online vendor)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing complex, high-acuity diagnoses in a busy Emergency Department setting
• First-time travelers with a strong Emergency Room skill set and demonstrated clinical experience will be considered
