Field Applications Scientist, Immunoassay Specialist (Midwest)

Bio-Techne seeks a Field Applications Scientist specializing in immunoassays for the Midwest or Texas region. The role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support for immunoassay instrumentation platforms, customer training, and field applications expertise to drive product adoption and customer success.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support on immunoassay platform design, assay planning, and data interpretation
- Deliver scientific seminars and conduct product evaluations at prospect sites for pre-sales opportunities
- Train customers on instrument use, assay development, and data analysis for Luminex and Ella systems
- Troubleshoot assay issues and provide post-sales support in-person, virtually, and remotely
- Represent the company at scientific conferences, tradeshows, and customer laboratories
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, or related life sciences field
- Minimum five years hands-on experience with immunoassays
- Thorough understanding of immunoassay principles and applications across research fields
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with presentation and training experience
- Ability to travel 50% of the time to customer sites
- Proven experience working independently and collaboratively in team environments
Compensation: $74,500–$122,575 base
