Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients’ mental health needs and formulating personalized treatment plans.

• Providing individual and family therapy focusing on effective strategies to manage emotional and behavioral issues.

• Facilitating or participating in group therapy sessions tailored to address specific population needs and therapy objectives.

• Collaborating with other healthcare providers and community agencies to coordinate services and follow up on care plans, ensuring comprehensive client support.

• Educating clients and their families on emotional and social factors related to mental health issues, and possibly leading training sessions for community members.

• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best therapeutic outcomes.

• Documenting all therapy sessions and case notes promptly and accurately, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will encompass a broad range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics issues, trauma, and substance use disorders. We are particularly focused on bringing culturally competent care to a diverse clientele, acknowledging the different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds of our patients.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active, independent license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
