Services to be provided include the full range of CT Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients to include call shift. Multiple shift schedules with on-call service are available. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers success as if it is their own./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliProvides CT Imaging care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC/liliAdheres to the ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards in the science of radiology to improve the quality of services to VA patients/liliPromotes the safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques/liliPerforms organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging including:/liulliCT Diagnostic Imaging/liliAbdomen/liliPelvis/liliNeuroradiology Imaging/liliCardiovascular / Extremity/liliCardiac/li/ulliPerforms related administrative tasks/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliHigh School Diploma/liliCompletion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program/liliARRT (CT) certification is required/liliAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required/liliA minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in CT Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting/liliMust have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months/liliPrior work experience with the GE-64 750HD and Siemens SOMATOM Force is preferred/liliPrior VA experience is desirable/liliNo sponsorship available/li/ulpAll candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist. Lift up to 20 lbs. Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
