Compliance Manager - Property Management

Location: Queens, NY

About Us:

We are a Queens-based property management company seeking a skilled Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance across our residential property portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Manage compliance with Department of Buildings (DOB)

• Local Law 11 (façade safety inspections)

• Local Law 97 (energy efficiency & emissions)

• Boiler and elevator inspections, filings, and corrections

• Track and resolve violations with DOB, DOHMH, DSNY, HPD, and DEP

• Work with expeditors and architects to correct violations

• Maintain compliance calendars to ensure timely inspections, filings, and reporting

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to correct violations

• Provide compliance updates and reports to ownership and management

• Train property staff on compliance policies and best practices

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years compliance experience in NYC property management

• Strong knowledge of DOB codes, violations, and correction processes

• Familiar with DOHMH, DSNY, HPD, and DEP regulations

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Proven track record managing and resolving property compliance issues
