IT Program Director - M&A Business Process and Systems Strategy

Medtronic seeks an IT Program Director to lead business process and systems strategy across the full M&A lifecycle, from due diligence through post-close value realization. The role involves translating transaction findings into integration recommendations, defining target states, and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to align on standardization and systems decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define transaction-level business process and systems strategy across acquisitions, carve-outs, separations, and divestitures
• Translate diligence findings into integration recommendations, roadmaps, dependencies, risks, and decision requirements
• Drive decisions on process standardization, application retention, platform adoption, and migration sequencing
• Facilitate alignment across IT Value Streams, Enterprise Architecture, business leaders, and external partners on integration approaches
• Build reusable integration patterns, playbooks, and decision frameworks to improve future transaction speed and quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree may substitute for 2 years of experience
• 10+ years experience with bachelor's degree or 8+ years with advanced degree
• 7+ years managerial experience
• Demonstrated leadership of business systems or technology strategy in M&A transactions
• Experience mapping end-to-end business processes and enterprise applications
• Ability to translate complex diligence findings into actionable integration strategies
