Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary school setting. This role allows you to work onsite with a dynamic team, supporting students’ speech, language, and communication development for the remainder of the school year through June 11, 2027. Travel professionals are highly encouraged to bring their expertise and enthusiasm to enrich the learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary school students.
  • Maintain a diverse yet manageable caseload, addressing needs such as articulation, language support, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device integration.
  • Complete student evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and actively participate in IEP meetings.
  • Dedicate administrative time for documentation, lesson planning, and collaborating with educators and other specialists.
  • Engage in regular team meetings, enjoying robust support for both direct and indirect services.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Active or pending State of North Carolina SLP license.
  • Preferred ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy settings is a plus.
  • Successful completion of standard credentialing, background checks, and fingerprinting prior to starting.
