This contract role involves working across two nearby school locations, starting as soon as possible. You'll provide critical services to help young learners develop essential communication skills and reach their fullest potential.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA)
• Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license
• Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to travel between two school sites as part of the daily schedule
• Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and IEP goals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Support student growth in classroom participation, social development, and academic success
